There are so many amazing places to get married on the East Coast, and I just happen to live and work about 5 miles from one, Jekyll Island, Georgia! Jekyll Island hosts some of the most gorgeous weddings and coastal events!
With the private feel of the island, you’ll have your guests thinking they’re extra special (and well, they are!) when traveling to your wedding.
Jekyll Island has over 5 different venues to choose from, whether you’re a toes in the sand “kind of bride” or groom or a little more of a traditionalist… there’s truly something for everyone within a few miles apart.
A few of our favorite places to host Jekyll Island Weddings include: The Beachview Club, Crane Cottage, and Driftwood Beach!
If you’re looking for whispering oaks, and ocean breezes, The Beachview Club is the perfect stop. This lovely venue definitely gives off the coastal vibe, with its pale yellow hues and tropical printed bedding, it gives way to nod towards your coastal inspired wedding.
If you’re looking for white backdrops, Italian influenced architecture, and an immaculate landscaped garden, Crane Cottage is the perfect choice.
Last, and certainly not least, Driftwood Beach. Driftwood makes you feel like you have been whisked away to a secluded little space. The beaches are decorated with massive pieces of driftwood that create the perfect backdrop for your wedding or even make for an extra stunning spot to snap a gorgeous picture!
Jekyll Island weddings also offer a vast array of activities. You don’t have to worry about trying to entertain your guest, the island can do it for you! It has activities like kayaking, Standup Paddle Boarding, and Segway tours. It’s even great for everyday bikers and runners. With over 20 miles of paths and trails, the view will not disappoint.
Still can’t decide? That’s what we’re here for! Contact us today for all of the information you need about Jekyll Island Weddings.
