It has been a week for sure. A week of both physical and mental exhaustion…I’m trying to get back to normalcy here, after Hurricane Irma. It’s really hard to explain all of the emotions that I feel after seeing Hurricane Harvey hit Texas and then experiencing, first hand having to evacuate for Hurricane Irma, and not knowing what I would come back to with both my home and my buisness. It’s hard to put all of your emotions into words, honestly. You feel completely helpless.

Through the evacuation process, I was grateful for parents 2 hours inland that took us in, friends that called to check on us, and while the “cabin fever” struck, I had pretty images like these below to scroll through and think about…AND while evacuated, got the most exciting news about this styled shoot! The exciting news is that this styled shoot is being featured on Ruffled today!

This past Summer I got together with a group of Vendor Friends to showcase our creativity in a Glamping Styled Shoot in Pensacola, Florida at the coolest venue, Coldwater Gardens. As a natural born designer, one of my goals is to always push myself outside the “norm” to showcase things you normally wouldn’t see, but that could actually really take place, and put a different spin on things.” I like mixing the everyday looks with high-end editorial fashion spreads that you would possibly see in Vogue (and well in the mean time, I’ll just dreaming for that vogue spread!) 🙂
