I love a clean table cape without all of the fuss, don’t you? I also love quick, easy, and products I can get multiple uses out of too! I’m not one of those that recycles everything, but when I can use one product for multiple things before I throw it away, and make something beautiful out of it, why not!
How to make these Simple Egg Centerpieces:
What You’ll Need:
Directions:
Make sure your egg shells are clean. Bacteria kills flowers, so that’s why we want to make sure our eggs are clean before we start planting our flowers or potting them. I chose Monrovia for my flowers, it has a tiny root system and the color works great with my vision. Next place a little bit of soil in the bottom of your egg (make sure your egg is in a stationary location while doing this), next take your tiny flower and with the tip of your finger push the root system into the soil in the egg. Fill the remaining egg up with soil to hold the flower in place.
Once you have the amount of eggs you desire, place them in the egg carton. I used 3 eggs and used the 1- 3 styling ratio. Place 1 object on one side, and 2 on the other at an alternate angle. Place the egg carton with your eggs and little floral centerpiece on the table.
P.S. How fun are these plates? Typically I love a monochromatic look, but my sweet girlfriend was coming over and she loved these plates so I wanted to make her feel at home. I kind of fell in love with them too. What’s not to love, I mean look at that sweet Bunny face.
In fact, these bunnies have inspired me to beg my hubby for us to get some more… we’ll see how it works!
Oh and ON THE BLOG tomorrow, I’ll be sharing another Easter Tables cape perfect for an Elegant at Home Brunch, Lunch or Wedding Tables scape…and these cute DIY bunny stir sticks!
