Forrest Pond Lodge Wedding | Ludowici Georgia

It was a beautiful day at Forrest Pond Lodge in the small, but quaint city of Ludowici, Georgia and love was and had been in the air for quite some time for these two!

I’m gonna let Monica tell her story.

“Winton and I met back in high school. It was my freshmen year and his sophomore year. We became friends in an art class. We kept in touch over the years. It wasn’t until 2012 that we went on our very first date. From then on we dated, until he popped the question at the Aquarium in Atlanta, GA on February 1st 2015.

Once we got engaged we planned our wedding for Fall of the same year for November 21, 2015. From that point forward we became one. “

I could definitely tell, during my walk through at Forrest Pond Lodge that these two were smitten for each other!

If you haven’t seen Forrest Pond Lodge, it’s definitely a little hidden gem tucked away on a beautiful piece of land with pond views. Forrest Pond Lodge, to me,  showcases what you would find nestled in the north georgia mountains (one of me and the hubs favorite places to go) with wrap around staircases, wooden cathedral ceilings, french doors, and even a bride and groom’s suite that’s fully decorated for you to use on the day of your wedding.

One of my favorite elements that Forrest Pond Lodge showcased, besides the wooden cathedral ceilings, was the stone firepit that overlooked the pond, perfect for roasting smores through the late evening, or having a cup of hot cider this time of the year!

Forrest Pond Lodge really is the perfect venue, if your looking for that  “Cabin in the woods feel” or Rustic Elegant space…be sure to check out this beauty!
