Happy Mother’s Day to all of you wonderful Mother’s Out there! But a Special, Happy Mother’s Day, to my sweet Mama and my sister.
My mom & I have always liked non-traditional, “things.” Many people don’t know, but my mother’s background is Fashion Design, although it is evitable in her every day wear as a Fashionista! From Leopard shirts, to designer toenails, and blinging bracelets, my mother is always in style!
This Mother’s Day Corsage is a tribute to my mother, something special and something different to represent her! Thank you for always being my Rock no matter what I was going through. Your prayers and guidance as a Christian mother in my life will forever be appreciated.
The traditional colors to use in Mother’s Day corsages are Red if your mother is living and White if your mother has passed away. I wanted to take a new spin on Mother’s Day for my mom and do something Fashion forward and untraditional.
Me & My Sweet Mama! |
Since my mother’s mother is living, I wanted to do a vibrant color because vibrancy represents life. I chose a plum purple (a.k.a. hot chocolate) mini callas with silver brunelli. I wanted to add a Fashion forward piece to represent my mother’s love for fashion, so I choose Leopard Ribbon. Anything that has an animal print on it, is so IN THIS SEASON!
Nontraditional Girls” Corsage |
“Giving birth to a child does not define you as a mother, the way you care & love for your child does.”The definition of Mother simply means, To Bring up (a child) with care and affection
I love you Mom!
Smiles,
