Savannah, Georgia is one of THE best places to get married! There are SO many Savannah wedding venues to choose from, and talk about charm! Savannah has the best of both worlds… a little historical city meets a coastal city. One of my favorite elements of Savannah are the majestic oak trees that line the city streets with draped moss… not to mention the quaint little cafés and eateries. There’s a natural since of romance in Savannah with the cobble stone walkways and the atmosphere that River street brings.
If you’re hungry while touring the city… (hint, hint) don’t forget to stop in and check out The Peanut Shop! It’s got the perfect little sweets and treats that will satisfy your sweet tooth while holding you over for dinner later that evening.
Savannah is the perfect spot to say I do!
Forsyth Park is a well-known staple in Savannah! Lined with historic Majestic Oaks, it absolutely has the Savannah feel. You can even get married in the rose garden!
Ships of the Maritime Sea Museum is an outdoor venue with a unique, modern-meets-industrial feel.
Nevertheless, if you’re more of a ballroom kind of gal, then maybe you should try Savannah Georgia’s Hyatt, which overlooks River Street, conveniently located to help entertain your guests.
Last but not least, if you’re a Gatsby or Art Deco kind of bride…boy do I have the perfect backdrop to your wedding already! Check out Garabaldi’s. It’s simple, it’s elegant, and has all of the perfect gold accents that’s sure to compliment your themed wedding!
If you have something more specific in mind, like an old mansion, Brockington Hall is a must see! It was built in 1882 and has an Italianate style, perfect for an Elegant Sleepy Hollow wedding as you see here! It’s a block from Forsyth park too, so it would be super easy to say your I do’s and then have your guests take the local trolly for a lovely reception.
xoxo,
Emily
