Cheers to the best season of the year and cheers for a new spin on a place setting that’s both beautiful and cost effective…if it cost you anything at all, right?! I mean after all, by now we are all at the end of our “pocketbooks” from spending on the most thoughtful Christmas gifts for our friends and family….right?!
I love modern clean lines…and this year for an editorial we had the honor of designing + styling. I wanted to mix traditional patterns modern prints.
To Create a super simple Place Setting, you’ll need:
First, place your charger on the table. Next your plate goes down, in this instance I choose my favorite print for West Elm’s New Holiday Collection. Then, you’ll want to add some foliage around the table, I like an asymmetrical look, so I opted to do mine to one side. I would recommend choosing a foliage with a leaf, like Magnolias, you can pull “double duty” and write on a leaf with whomever’s name you would like to sit their. The great thing about the foliage (if you use foliage with a leaf) if not, you can always create a paper tag.
I just love a personalized place setting, this make’s your guests feel extra special, and after all they should!
