DIY Cocktail or Lounging Tables
I have a super easy DIY Cocktail or Lounge table idea perfect for your next wedding, party, or event!
These DIY Cocktail or Lounge tables can save you money to put towards other things you’d like to have!
How?! Let me tell you! When planning your wedding or next event, strategizing is key.
If you’re having a large crowd, like we did (over 325) and you are trying to stretch you budget to the max…opting for these DIY Cocktail tables just may be the perfect solution for you!
These DIY Cocktail or Lounge tables can fit up to 8 people, thats saving basically a full banquet table and a linen, which equates to ($30.00) If you opted to save (8) tables by using these DIY tables that’s right at $300.00!
I recently incorporated this at our Food Truck wedding in St. Augustine! Honestly, any time you try something once it’s always kind of trial an error…I hoped people would use these and based on my couple’s description of their clients and they way I strategically designed the space they did! In fact, they were a huge hit with everyone!
With food stations and passed hor’derves being all the rage, cocktail tables, and/or lounging tables work great for including all of your guests. In fact, if you ask me, they give your space a nice variation of movement and help remove any negative space.
My client’s church wanted to be a part of their wedding so one of the things we asked them to do was donate coordinating blankets and throw pillows to place around and under the cocktail or lounge areas to make them super cozy and inviting for guests to sit on!
White Paint, or Paint Color of your Choice (don’t use spray paint, its absorbed to quickly by the wood)
Pallet Wood (you can typically get these for free)
Blankets
Throw Pillows
Paint only 1 side of the pallet wood, since only one side will show. Next, place your blanket in proper space and stack (3) pieces of pallet wood on top of each other. Finally, put your throw pillows around your pallet wood for people to prop up on!
Don’t worry, I’ll be sharing the full details on this beautiful wedding as soon as our bride gets back from her mission trip and can see the pictures herself!
Until then, I hope you found this DIY Cocktail and Lounge tables helpful for your next party or event!

Emily
