Wedding Floral Fountains
Why leave a fountain bare, when you could create a floral conversation piece?!
Floral Fountains don’t have to break your budget, just choose more of a green or leafy base to keep your cost down and add a pop of color or different texture with a flower you love like we did here in the first picture.
When thinking of your overall fountain designer, make sure you work with the overall shape of your fountain and not against, think of how the fountain moves, if it has scallops or cutouts and how the water will fall on the flowers. I always enjoy adding foliage like ivy to the cutout portions of the fountain (like in the bottom picture) I just love how the ivy seems to be a part of the fountain itself and it even seems to fit in the same time period the fountain was built.
Some of the easiest flowers to work with for fountains are of course the beloved hydrangea. Why? Because hydrangeas are water loving! Hydra means water, loving hence the name. What these babies perk up and be the fluffiest flowers you’ve ever seen even in the blazing soon all throughout the day.
I hope you consider adding this pretty focal point to your wedding this season. It will be the piece the guests are talking about for years to come!
