Let me just sum up this year’s Fall Shoe Trends, think the weirder they look the more in style they’ll be.
Shoe Trend 1: Velvet Shoes
First up, Velvet Shoes. Velvet always makes me think back to the days of Romeo and Juliette, large bell sleeves with corset skirts and dresses.
I do love velvet shoes though I might add, as long as the velvet stays on the shoes and not seen worn on the body I’m totally okay with that.
Velvet will be seen in over-the knee boots this season, to more of a casual Sky High- Platform tennis shoe which I totally love!
Shoe Trend 2: Sky High Platforms Mixed
I love a heel or platform of any-sort as long as it’s timeless and a little funky…On the other hand…I’ll say I’m not a fan of the sky-high Combat boot though…just not my style. But hey, if you can rock it, wear it!
Shoe Trend # 3: Metallic
You’ll see Metallics surface from flats, to pointy toed heels, and even in tiny details on sky-high combat shoes. The simple key is look for the gold or silver!
Shoe Trend # 4: Pointy Toes
Pointy Toed Shoes are referring to both the heel and the front of the shoe this Fall. If it’s got a point, whether its in a boot, a bootie, a pump or a flat, it’s making the list. Oh and don’t be scared of this trend, pointy shoes are a great addition to your wardrobe and can make you look taller and leaner!
Which Fall Shoe Trend is your favorite? I’m kind of digging the Sky-high Velvet Plats!
