Are you Scrabbling around for a Budget friendly Wedding Theme that is Rustic? I put together one of my favorite Simple, yet Elegant Rustic Centerpieces, & Boutonnieres, great for any guy and gal getting hitched, and counting pennies.
Burlap was used as the main fabric for the chair covers and Centerpieces. In order to create textural interest, two different types of Burlap was chosen in various shades.
Table Numbers were purchased at one of my favorite craft Stores, Hobby Lobby. I chose a white, more modern lettering to break up the monotony of the Rustic neutral browns used in the table and burlap. The white number also acted as the Centerpiece and created a Clean polished look.
Yes, I am obsessed with designs inspired by nature. I also enjoy helping couples have a fabulous looking wedding day, while not going over budget. For this Couple, a pine tree wrapped in burlap did the trick. Stunning, Elegant, and the only expense was the burlap itself. I used a plantar to put the pine tree in, covered the tree with soil to weight it down, and then wrapped the planter in burlap and tied it at the base of the tree with rope. You can use a variety of planters no matter what size they are. This will give dimension to your tables and the room that you are decorating.
Cream Soda was the Drink of Choice!
I wanted to use a pop of color against the neutral tones, still fitting within the theme so I choose the “Camping Gear” place setting sold at any sporting goods store, like Sports Authority, Dicks and etc.
L -O – V- E spelled out the Grooms emotions for his Wedding Day and on his boutonniere! The nontraditional boutonniere was inspired by a Man’s pocket square in a formal suit, adorned with a sugar gum seed and scrabble letters.
Sunflower seeds were placed in mason jars wrapped with hemp cord for the guest to take home with them after the wedding.
My Favorite ending to this Wedding day was the “Trash the Groom’s Suit”, instead of Trash the Wedding Dress. What a fun way to symbolize an ending to his life as a bachelor!
Just a Swinging…
Samuel, still trying to look good for his bride, waiting for him on dry ground!
