I loved Jamie and Jason’s love story.
It went something like this, Jamie was a small town girl, working at a hotel in Savannah, who ran into a business man staying at her hotel.
She thought their first “date” was a business meeting, but soon after a love affair in the beautiful city of Savannah grew between them and well, before too long Jamie was packing her bags and leaving on a jet plane (don’t know if I’ll be back again…) to move to New York.
She was excited to see their relationship continue, but sad to leave the beautiful southern town she loved so much…to help ease the pain, Jason bought her flowers every week in that Summer (can you say what a keeper…I’m sure she knew that moment on.)
One of the things I love most about their love story was… the first Jamie, said, I love you, to Jason was an accident, (omg, I’ve almost done this to business associates before because I’m so used to telling my hubby this) as she was leaving him a voicemail…needless to say he’s never deleted the voicemail and obviously the feeling was mutual.
See for yourself.
Their next chapter starts something like this October 14, 2016 (1 week post Hurricane Matthew) we said I do at Harper Fowlkes House in Savannah Georgia just blocks away from where we first met. We ended the night celebrating with all of our closest family friends, who stood by us, believed in us….and
well…cheers to us!
Next chapter…well that’s to be continued.
