Wedding Flowers + Design Trends:
Wedding Flowers and the over all Design are truly what make your entire event cohesive, and pretty!
Let’s talk about what’s on the radar for Wedding Flowers and Wedding Design Trends!
Yay! Thank goodness this years wedding trends are focusing more on the couple’s personalities rather than having that “Royal Wedding” if you will. After all, your personalities are what brought you to together in the first place.
Perhaps you met over coffee like me and my honey did, well, why not incorporate your own custom coffee and hot chocolate bar? We came up with our own hot chocolate and coffee menu with the recipe that each guest could make own their own. It was quite the hit with everyone!
Hometown Favs: I absolutely love when couples bring in their hometown favorite items and want to incorporate them in their big day. For example, are you from Savannah, but getting married in Cali and your absolute favorite thing is Cheese Straws from the pink house?! Well, why not have these made ahead of time and served in some fun containers at your Wedding during cocktail hour?! Of course you may want to ask the venue for approval to bring in food. Or perhaps, your family makes Blueberry wine, like one of my clients. Bottle it up in pretty bottles that match your wedding, put it on display at your wedding for your guest to pick! I can’t think of a better way to bring in the personal touch and give your guests a full representation of who you are as a couple then with your hometown fav.

Romance by Lighting: The key to setting the tone if you ask me is by Romantic Lighting. Lighting is EVERYTHING!!!
It sets the tone, and the perfect lighting creates the best pictures on your wedding day.
Get creative! There are so many different ways to add lighting here and there..just make sure the lighting matches the overall tone and theme of your wedding day.
For example, if you are doing a boho industrial wedding, opt for a mix of industrial cage lighting, and Edison bulbs. If you’re doing a woodland themed elegant wedding perhaps you’ll want to go for a mixture of chandeliers, some crystal, and some beaded wood!

Floral Trends: Simplicity + Mix it Up
Simplicity is key. This year concentration is moving more towards the containers as well as the floral designs As you can see below, we designed a monochromatic look where we played on mostly textures, rather than colors. We chose a mix of white rounds and squares, with clear and gold ceramic and glass accents. This is so timeless and creates movement around the table. Trust me, your guest will have something to talk about, and in a good way!
