Have you ever considered eloping? What about eloping to Las Vegas ? If this is something you are interested in, we’d love to help you curate your perfect wedding week and weekend so it stress free as well as it cohesive with your over all look and style.
Our goal for curated elopements is that your over-all vision is followed throughout your entire stay, from your hotel to your evening out! After all, if pictures tell a story, and you’re having a vintage wedding, doesn’t it make since to stay at a vintage inspired hotel?!
Our fun-loving couple Jessica + Rob, had just this idea! Both couples work very demanding jobs, that can tend to stress them out. They communicated up-front that their goal was to have a stress-free and fun wedding. And so we set out on a mission!
Jessica’s ideal wedding was a twist on Vintage Pin-up style.
In our initial meeting we discussed two options, one being local with a few family and friends, while the other option was an elopement with just the two of them, reiterating her overall style and vision! Her choice, Vegas of course!
Jessica chose 3 different dresses, for her wedding day, and they were as follows, a day or ceremony look, an exploring the city post ceremony look, and an evening to dinner look! All three were different but cohesive in style!
We all flew up on January 16, 2017, since they wanted their wedding date to be (1.17.17). Jessica’s full day started with of course hair and makeup from our local team, while Rob played the slot machines.
The Compilation of Las Vegas was the perfect hotel for our couple to stay in not only because of the Vintage accents that were elegantly incorporated throughout the hotel. It was located in such a convenient area, within walking distant from all of the iconic buildings and might I add within walking distance to the best crepes on the planet! LOL! Yes, I just might have to say me and photographer every morning walked just to order our crepes…worth every penny! In fact, I’d fly back just to eat crepes again!
Planning A Vegas Wedding
Well, that’s the tricky part for sure. Even elopements can get pricey in Vegas due to all of the hidden fees. I called around for days at the time finding trying to find out what all was included in the little chapels, only to find out that your choices were Elvis and an Corvette or Elvis and 1980’s white lattice and green ivy backdrop…Um, hello 2017! That’s not what I had in mind for my client and it’s definitely not what she had envisioned.
So being strategic and let’s just say jumping through hoops, you can plan a beautiful elopement, the key is just hiring the right Wedding Planning team and knowing how to maneuver yourself around all of the gimmicks (remember it’s Vegas) !
