Are you into dramatic, yet quick, easy, and affordable holiday decor? Yeah….me to!
This Halloween season “on the go” has been an understatement for us …from traveling for weddings, events and other editorials to a thousand and one other projects up our sleeves (like any other stay at home parent or business owner) it’s just the norm.
So when decorating at home or for a special event, I like to think, high impact, yet cost effective!
For The Table, I used bag of spanish moss I purchased. (Pretty Pleaseeeeee don’t use it out of the trees….you’ll have red bugs for days). No I haven’t tried this, but I’ve worked enough events outside along the East Coast to know that red bugs are n o t h i n g to joke about!
I just stretched + pulled the spanish moss over the top of my breakfast table. Don’t worry, with halloween decorations you have an excuse to be messy…and it works in your favor.
PLACE SETTING: I wanted the place setting to be fun and interactive! What if you showed up to a party and your place setting was drinkable + eatable?! This is a super fun idea for not just a kid’s party but for adults as well.
MY IDEA: I thought it would be a super cute to idea to have your guest(s) show up to an eatable cauldron full of organic cotton candy! I like to think of it as an “interactive” place setting!
COCKTAIL STIRS: For the cocktail stir, just simply poke holes in a pumpkin using an ice pick or sharp wooden skewers. Roll the fruit skewers in edible glitter…I promise these are sure to be a hit! Really this could be used for a multitude of parties and other events, not just for Halloween!
I hope this helped inspire you for your very own DIY Halloween Tablescape this season!
We’d love for you to share some of your very own tablscapes with us, for a chance to be featured on our blog and or ig page! Just email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Oh, and did I mention our super cuddly fur baby, Ziggy, wanted to be front and center of course…so as any good furmother would do, we just let him be a part of the action.
