I can’t believe March has already come and gone, but the memories of Allison + Kyle’s day are still lingering in our minds.
Allison and Kyle’s wedding featured pretty shades greens, a nod to Pantone’s color of the year, and a mix of traditional and whimsical style.
The flowers were designed with a bit of whimsy in mind! I wanted the flowers to be a combination of whimsy and tradition, that of which to match Allison’s beautiful wedding gown, and Colonial House of Flowers always executes our visions perfectly! Allison’s wedding gown’s over-all style in regards to construction was traditional but the details were a bit on the whimsical side. One of my favorite details on Allison’s wedding gown were the flowers attached to the back of the dress on the bodice area. whimsical accents, such as the flowers that accented the back of her wedding dress…it was a nice little surprise to the back if will.
The Bridal Party:
The bridesmaids were all decked out in a shade of green, while the groomsmen wore light gray suits and fun socks to match their personalities!
The Wedding Cake: OMG! Not only was it beautiful, but it was absolutely delicious. Allison and Kyle picked the flavor Spice Cake, which is one of Cathy’s secret recipes, and now I know why. Hands down best tasting cake I’ve ever had…and trust me I taste Alot!
I can’t say enough sweet things about working with this entire family. You can tell they have so much love for each other and that their extended family runs through to their friends. Congrats you two, it was such an honor to get to know you both and be a part of your beautiful day!
